After nearly a decade of serving Indonesia’s energy sector, Triputra Energi Megatara (TEM) is entering a new chapter. Recognizing the need for more integrated support in mining, TEM has officially rebranded as Triputra Energi Total Solution (TETS) — a transformation that reflects its expanded role in delivering end-to-end solutions across the mining fuel supply chain. TETS is now the umbrella brand that unifies Triputra Energi’s contributions within the energy ecosystem. Offering not just fuel and value added services, but also infrastructure, technology, and renewable energy services tailored for mining operations.
Upon joining the energy industry landscape since 2018, The company started as the branded distributor of ExxonMobil’s Mobil Diesel Oil™, primarily in Kalimantan and Eastern Indonesia. However, over the years, the company identified persistent gaps in the mining industry, ranging from inconsistent fuel quality and losses due to other optimized handling system, also renewable energy optimization, but there hasn’t been a solution provider for all these challenges.
“We want to be a lifelong business partner for mining industry players—not just as a fuel trader, but a total solutions provider, an Energy Connector” – Oky Heryanto, CEO of TETS
This insight prompted the company’s evolution into TETS, with a consultative approach to support clients beyond fuel supply. Its B40 product, exceeds government cetane standards — resulting in cleaner combustion, better engine performance, and longer equipment life. To understand how TETS supports mining clients beyond just fuel delivery, we asked how the company ensures operational reliability in the field. “To strengthen operational reliability, TETS deploys high-grade fuel storage tanks (steel, stainless steel, and aluminum), implements Vendor Held Stock (VHS) systems, and stations on-site fuel engineers to monitor performance. The company’s in-house R&D team also develops advanced fuel filtration systems to reduce engine damage caused by particulates” the CEO explained.
As fuel contributes a major portion of the mining operational costs, therefore TETS offers tailored packages that integrate fuel supply with engineering support and consultative services to help customers manage costs more effectively. These are designed to help customers reduce fuel loss, optimize usage, and improve productivity. TETS also expands into other energy management segments, offering Neoloy® ToughCells soil stabilization for road infrastructure, as well as solar energy solutions like floating solar panels and rooftop PV systems at mine sites. By aligning with industry shifts and sustainability goals, TETS is not just adapting—it’s leading change. With deep expertise, innovation, and a partnership mindset, TETS positions itself as a strategic, long-term partner for the mining industry’s future.
